9U Black & 7U Blue Take First Place at Ankeny Classic II

Two Ankeny Xtreme teams won championships this weekend at The Ankeny Classic II sponsored by Prairie Trail Sports Complex.  9U Black won a pitchers duel by a score of 1-0 over the 3T's Bats Black.  7U Blue had to win 3 games on Sunday to win their championship over Perry Jayettes by a score of 12-3.  10U White lost a 9-8 nail biter in the 10U championship game against 3T's Bats.  Overall, the weekend  was a huge success!  Thanks to all teams for playing and to the parents/fans who cheered them on, enjoyed the concession stand and volunteered to help run the tournament.
